Paper 1, (Shift 1)

  • The mechanics section of Physics was coffee tricky.
  • The entire paper was very long.
  • Maths paper was a bit easier and Chemistry paper was medium.
  • Almost all the questions were typical.
  • One student says that the chemistry paper was difficult.
  • The first 15 questions of Physics section were very difficult and the remaining 15 questions were easy.
  • All the students adapted the questions easily.
11 January 2020, Students feedback on JEE Paper 1

Paper 1, (Shift 2)

  • Looking at the entire paper, 45% of the questions were mostly from 11th class and some were also from 12th class.
  • Students say that the mock test has helped them a lot.
  • One student even says that the entire paper was easy.
  • Some students say that the questions were more from Mathematics in class 11.
  • 12th class questions were found more in Physics section.
  • Of all the students who appeared in this examination, almost all of them said that physics paper was difficult, chemistry paper was easy and maths paper was balanced.

Paper 1, (Shift 1)

  • Consix was asked a direct question but it was a bit time consuming.
  • The calculus portion was long.
  • Students described mechanics and modern physics as tricky.
  • Most of the questions in mathematics were trigonometry questions, cones questions.
  • There were also questions from bio molecules and polymers.
  • Physics was comparatively difficult.
  • Many questions were asked from Newton’s law. There were also questions of magnetism. The paper looks at all the questions ranging from classical physics to modern physics.
  • More questions were asked from class 12th.
  • Overall the questions were asked from relation and function.
  • Chemistry had questions from P-Block, S-Block, D-Block, F-Block.
  • Maths was a very long and time consuming question, complex number, 3-D, statistics, probability, maths questions were easy and were from NCERT.
  • Questions were not asked from Semiconductor, Fluid and Rotation.
  • Students have also said that the paper run by CBSE used to be easy.
  • Mathematics was moderate, physical difficult and chemistry was easy.
  • Most of the questions in Physics section were from mechanics.
  • The question is also repeated from the sample question paper in mathematics.
  • There were questions from projectiles, optics 2 questions and 2-3 mechanics.
  • Questions from integral were difficult. The questions were also from calculas and integration.

Paper 1, (Shift 2)

  • There were several repetitions of questions from the mock test.
  • According to the response of the student, if you have done NCERT completely, then it is easy to do the questions.
  • A student has reported experiencing a technical glitch while taking the exam.
  • Maths was time consuming and physics and chemistry were easy according to one of the students who took the exam.
  • Integral questions were difficult in mathematics, chemistry was easy.
  • Based on the students who appeared for the exam, the mathematics was comparatively easy but lengthy.

Paper 1, (Shift 1)

  • Questions were out of syllabus and some were difficult too.
  • Students say that some of the physics questions were also from 11th class.
  • In mathematics, there was more focus on the topics of Victor and 3D Maths.
  • 4 – 5 questions were from trigonometry.
  • Most questions of the ministry were asked from the NCRT.
  • The physics paper was difficult and the questions were from electricity and current topics.
  • One student says that there was not a single single question from the Conic section.
  • 3 – 4 questions were from optics.
  • The physics and mathematics paper was long.
  • Math paper was difficult, physics paper was balance and chemistry paper was easy.
  • It was taking time to solve all the questions.
  • This time the paper was more difficult than last year.

09 January 2020, Students feedback on JEE Paper 1

Paper 1, (Shift 2)

  • Overall chemistry was easy, physics was difficult and mathematics was moderate. The paper was difficult if we look at it in its entirety.
  • More questions were asked from 11th instead of 12th.
  • Mathematics paper was easy but long.
  • Physics was difficult and long. Mathematics and chemistry were notable.
  • If we compare the level of paper according to CBSE and NTA, the paper shift conducted by NTA was harder than the paper of 1.
  • Shift 2 for JEE Main 09 January exam has started at 2:30 pm.

Paper 1, (Shift 1)

  • According to the students, mathematics was the most difficult of all subjects.
  • The JEE Main Examination reported by the students was not long.
  • Questions were asked directly from the NCERT book.
  • The physics was a bit harder but longer.
  • Previous year questions were also in today’s examination.
  • The questions in JEE Main exam were more than class 11th as compared to 12th.
  • Students are saying that the estimated cutoff will be between 80-90.
  • If we compare the level of paper according to CBSE and NTA then the paper run by NTA was tough.

08 January 2020, JEE Paper 2 students feedback

  • Students are giving mixed responses for the Maths and Physics section. For some, it was medium level and for some it was difficult. But it is clear that it was not easy for anyone.
  • Chemistry section students found it easy.
  • Most of the questions in Modern Physics, Rotation, Optics, Thermodynamics were in Physics.
  • The ratio of questions in class 11 and 12 was 60:40.
  • In JEE Main 2020 Paper 2, students said that the drawing part was very easy while Part 1 and Part 2 were of moderate difficulty level.
  • Paper 1 level was moderate to difficult but Paper 2 was moderate in difficulty level.
  • Paper 2 had more questions from class 11th to 12th.
  • Maths was the most difficult section.
  • Photocopy of ID proof was not allowed in the examination center. This mistake was made by many children.

It is observed that the difficulty level of physics was difficult. Students found mechanics and modern physics difficult. Many questions were asked from Newton’s law. There were also questions of magnetism. Questions ranging from classical physics to modern physics are also seen in the paper. Most of the questions in Physics section were from mechanics. Electrostatics and Moment of Inertia, vectors and projectile questions were from Physics section.

JEE Main 2020 Mathematics Analysis

Mathematics was relatively easy compared to boo-time last year. There were questions from coordinate geometry, trigonometry, calculus and probability. Difference question was a bit tough. It also had questions on topics like vector, 3-D, matrices, complex numbers, determinants. Questions were more than calculus. There was a question from the ellipse. Questions were difficult from integration. There were also questions from permutation and combination.

There were mixed reactions to chemistry. Some are saying that it was hard, others said it was easy. Questions in chemistry were from molarity, mole fraction and coordination compounds. This time there were more questions than organic.

Paper 1 Mathematics Analysis

  • Paper Level – Medium
  • As in previous years, questions were asked from each subject.
  • 15-18 out of 30 were easy questions.
  • Long questions were asked from Statistics, Circle, Area.
  • Probability was asked a simple question.
  • 3 questions were asked from 3D and vectors. Whose hardness level was moderate.
  • Complex number was asked 1 simple question.
  • 1 medium nature question was also asked from Mathematical Reasoning.
  • Different easy questions were asked from differential calculus.
  • 5 questions of moderate nature were asked from Integral Calculus.

JEE Main 2020 paper 2 analysis

NTA is organizing JEE Main 2020 Paper 2 on 08 January 2020. The exam is being conducted in several shifts. Paper 2 consists of three sections aptitude, mathematics and drawing. Paper analysis for JEE Main 2020 paper 2 will be uploaded here as soon as the paper ends.

JEE Main 2020 paper 2 drawing exam analysis

The paper in the drawing section has three questions of 70 marks each. According to the candidates the drawing section was quite easy and it had a total of 3 questions. The third question of the section had 3 parts and the candidates had to do any one of them:

  • The first option was to design the curtain of a little girl’s room, the second option was to sketch her favorite film actor and the third option was to sketch the scene of people sitting around the bonfire, the score for this question was 30.
  • The second question was for 20 marks in which a square design was given and students had to draw a replica to double it to double its size.
  • The last question was to draw a square with random designs using curved lines and color, this question was for 20 marks.
JEE Main 2020 paper 2 math exam analysis
  • According to the candidates this section was moderate in nature, there were some questions from previous years question papers. Class 11th questions cover 60% of the mathematics portion while Class XII had only 40% questions.
JEE Main 2020 paper 2 aptitude test analysis
  • Aptitude test consisting of 50 questions in total. They are a total of 200 marks. The questions were easy for the candidates. The General Aptitude section was very easy.

This examination consists of two papers. BE / B.Tech candidates will be required to appear for Paper 1 and B. Arch / B.Plan students on the other hand for Paper 2. Mode of Examination: Pen-paper mode and Computer based mode .

  • 4 marks will be given for every correct answer.
  • 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
